I haven't had this problem (3.5 Amiga). I have noticed that if you need
a smooth sphere make it so when you build it. A 16 sided sphere smoothed
to death won't give me the results of a 32 sided sphere . if you need to
get really close then take the hit upfront and increase the sections
using the numeric panel when you create it.
